- Is this donation tax deductible? Yes! YWCA Boulder County is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is 100% tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record.
- Contributions are eligible for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, which equals 50% of your donation. This tax credit is a great way to make charitable contributions at a much lower net cost to you. Here's an example: Donation Amount = $500 (Colorado Childcare Tax Credit = $250, Federal Tax Deduction Savings = $87.50, CO Tax Savings = $11.57) Net Cost of Donation to Taxpayer = $150.93 *Please consult with your tax advisor as individual situations vary.
