Art By: Gail Cooper
Gail Cooper's art is an exploration of color, design, and pattern that often appears abstract; upon closer examination, one may find nature realized in its many forms. Gail's artistic perspective was heavily influenced by her experiences living and working abroad for over 35 years. She works in various mediums including acrylics, oils, watercolors, collage and fabric. Gail studied Fine Arts and Graphics at the University of Illinois Chicago and now calls Colorado home.

About TAP
ABOUT TRI ARTS PROJECT
Founded in 2022 in response to a community call for a unifying arts center, Tri Arts Project (TAP) was created to expand access to arts education, creation, and presentation in Douglas County. Over the next two years, TAP collaborated closely with community members, local government and businesses to bring this vision to life. In September 2024, TAP opened its doors in the historic Cantril School Building, creating a shared home where artists, educators, students, and community members can gather to make, teach, present, and experience art.
TAP is committed to ensuring that the transformative power of the arts is accessible to everyone. Through a welcoming and inclusive environment, TAP offers a wide range of classes, workshops, and rotating exhibitions led by skilled mentors. TAP additionally offers an Outreach Program that extends arts education beyond TAP’s walls to underserved populations and offsite community venues. All these programs are designed to foster creativity, strengthen community connections, and ensure the arts remain a vibrant and essential part of life in Douglas County.
TAP'S MISSION: TAP’s mission is to provide space and opportunities for the education, creation, and presentation of the arts.
