Shield Our Schools hosts some of the most high-profile, immersive, and unforgettable fundraising events in the community—lavish evenings and unmatched gatherings that bring together influential leaders, generous donors, and families who care deeply about protecting our children. These signature experiences not only raise critical funds, they unite people around a powerful purpose. From elegant galas to exclusive donor gatherings, every event is crafted with intention: to inspire, to connect, and to fuel real change.

The momentum created at these events directly funds Shield Grants that are given to public, private and charter schools so they can make facility upgrades such as bullet-resistant window film, upgraded door locks, security cameras, and other essential safety measures. Each school has a different need, and they can use the money on any security item of their choosing so long as it aligns with the mission of SOS: to mitigate or prevent school shootings.

How does the Shield Society work?

With the support of the Shield Society, SOS Foundation is working toward funding one school every month—creating safer campuses and protecting children nationwide on a regular basis.

The Shield Society is a membership program, and the cost per month is the donor's choice. Some donors have joined this society at $10/month, others have joined at $1,000/month.
