About the Organization
The performing arts bring people together like nothing else can. The Miners Alley Performing Arts Center is more than a theatre—we’re here to build community, contribute to a thriving downtown, empower kids to learn, and create a hub for meetings, events, and classes in the heart of Golden.
We attract top talent from across the country, providing actors, directors, writers, designers, and technicians with professional opportunities to hone their skills and pay their bills. We are proud to be an Actors’ Equity Union Theatre.
Programs for young people range from after-school classes to summer camps, as students from preschool through high school build confidence, collaboration, creativity, and critical-thinking skills.
Our adult workshops offer one-of-a-kind opportunities for area performers and theatre lovers alike. Our Life Stages Theatre program brings together older adults and high school students for cross-generational creative experiences.
We believe theatre is for everyone. We’ve built a comfortable, intimate setting that feels like home. You’ll be close to the stage and the action, enjoying the professional performances and design work of our outstanding creative teams.
