Broomfield FISH
Feeding Families and Fueling Hope
The mission of Broomfield FISH is to meet our neighbors’ basic human needs and provide them with hope and tools to rise out of poverty. While FISH is best known as a food bank, we also provide emergency financial support to residents, as well as connections to workforce development, money management training, health care navigation, veterans’ and seniors’ resources, early child care support, and other vital services that help people become more self-sufficient.
As Broomfield’s only food bank and family resource center, FISH has served as a vital community resource for more than 60 years, uniquely positioned to act as a central hub for residents in need. Today, we are facing the highest demand in our organization’s history, with more families seeking assistance and more food being distributed than ever before.
The rising cost of living and the ongoing impact of inflation have made it increasingly difficult for low-income residents to make ends meet. Now, more than ever, we rely on community support to ensure we can continue preventing hunger and homelessness for our neighbors.
Thank you for standing with us in this critical work!
In 2025 FISH:
- Served more than 15,000 unduplicated residents (that's 1 in 5 Broomfield Residents - more than half were children, seniors on fixed incomes, or those with a disability)
- Distributed more than 1.7 million pounds of food
- Assisted 688 Broomfield residents with housing
We are committed to making sure our neighbors in need have access to food, housing assistance, and the resources necessary to achieve lasting stability. Your support plays a vital role in helping individuals and families build a brighter future.
