at Cat Care Society, 5787 W. 6th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80214
Amy Bishop has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and teaching since completing her Power Vinyasa training in 2016. Her teaching is influenced by vinyasa flow, hot yoga, Rocket Yoga, breathwork, somatic practices, and intuitive movement, as well as ongoing study, including a recent intensive training in Nicaragua.
Drawing from her work as a yoga teacher, wellness facilitator, and peer recovery coach, Amy creates classes that invite students to explore strength, resilience, and self-awareness through movement and breath. She believes yoga offers a place to explore discomfort with curiosity rather than resistance, discovering that some of life’s greatest growth happens just beyond what once felt possible.
Amy is especially passionate about making yoga accessible and welcoming for all bodies and experience levels. She enjoys working with people who have felt disconnected from movement, discouraged by past experiences, or uncertain about what their bodies can do. Her classes offer space to reconnect with the body, build trust in oneself, and move with greater confidence, curiosity, and freedom.
This yoga session is BYOM (bring-your-own-mat) and will be in our main hallway. Tickets are required and nonrefundable. Please be aware - there WILL be cats crawling on and around you and your personal belongings.
