5th Annual Max Plumb Memorial Golf Tournament

The Max Plumb Memorial Golf Tournament relies on dedicated volunteers to ensure a smooth and successful event.
We’re looking for friendly, dependable individuals to help us make the day great—especially in the early morning hours. We ask that volunteers to commit to a shift to ensure sufficient coverage throughout the tournament:
Full-Day Support (7:00 AM to 2:00 PM) – Highest need
Morning Shift (7:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Mid-day Shift (10:30 AM – 2:00 PM)
Volunteer duties include:
Player Check-In & Registration – Set up check-in tables, greet players, distribute materials
Hole Contest Assistants – Monitor contests like Pro Drive, Hole-in-One or Closest to the Pin
Volunteer Support – Provide relief breaks for volunteers
Clean-up Crew – Help with logistics at end of event
Photo/Social Media Support – Snap photos and help with live updates
Volunteers receive light breakfast, beverages and buffet lunch (depending on shift).

We’re seeking optional donations to offset volunteer food/beverage expenses. Any amount helps ensure our players and volunteers are well-fed and hydrated while more of the proceeds go directly to the Max Plumb Scholarship Fund and the Applewood Community Foundation’s community efforts.
