Bhai Sahib Dr. Harbans Lal’s scholarly work on Guru Nanak

These autographed books are gifted by Sikh scholar and author Bhai Sahib Dr. Harbans Lal.

Guru Nanak was a man of God, not of any particular religion. He shared his poetic meditations with people of diverse faiths by reciting and singing them. He was the first to travel 38 thousand kilometers to hold and promote interfaith dialogues throughout South Asia, East Asia and the Middle East. In this book, Dr. Harbans Lal and Roshan Attrey explore Guru Nanak’s religious pluralism and how the Guru Grangh Sahib defines a universally-appealing path to God.

Bhai Sahib Dr. Harbans Lal is professor-and-chair-emeritus of Pharmacology and Neuroscience at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, USA. He has devoted his life to promoting and serving Sikhi causes and Guru Nanak Dev University has honored him with the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature.
