8 - Vote for Team 8: Valerie & Evan

Val Kindred

Valerie fell in love with dance at the age of six and grew up with modern and jazz as the cornerstones of her youth. In college, geology, and the outdoors took over her time and added to her passions. She was an exploration geologist for 30 years. Now, happily retired, she is enjoying a new marriage, their wonderful adult children and families, including all four-legged members. She loves to hike, play tennis, practice yoga, travel and when the weddings come along, she loves to dance. Val recently completed 11 years on the board of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. She currently is on the board of an Ugandan nonprofit and, with her husband, is helping a young Ugandan woman through college. Val believes in giving back and is inspired, grateful and truly humbled to support, the valuable mission of the YWCA through dance.

Evan Post

Evan has been dancing most of his life, starting with Hip Hop in elementary school. Dance has been part of his life ever since and he later found and fell in love with ballroom dancing. He is currently an instructor at Arthur Murray. Evan is passionate about all forms of dance loves to dance in his studio or out with friends. He enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, traveling and reading. He is excited to be participating for the first time with Dancing with Boulder Stars.
